Frosted Lemonade


If you love Chick-fil-A's frozen lemonade, you need to try this recipe.

Frosted Lemonade


Yields: 3

Total Time: 0 hours 10 mins
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. water
  • 6 c. vanilla ice cream
  • sliced lemons, for garnish




Directions:

Mix lemon juice and sugar together in a pitcher until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add water to dilute and chill.

Into a blender, add lemonade and ice cream. Blend until smooth and divide among 3 cups. Garnish with slices of lemon and serve.

Fried Lasagna Recipe

It ain't pasta if it ain't fried, y'all. A twist on an old classic. This is kind of messy but soooo good. Looks like an appetizer but eats like a meal. The whole family loves it and the stuffed noodles can be frozen and used at a later point. Fried Lasagna Yields: 10 Prep Time: 0 hours 10 mins Cook Time: 0 hours 40 mins Total Time: 0 hours 50 mins Ingredients: Cooking spray 10 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package directions 1 oz. (15-oz.) container ricotta 4 large eggs, divided 2 cloves garlic, minced Kosher salt Freshly ground pepper 1 c. shredded mozzarella 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 c. Parmesan Garlic Roasted Potatoes

photo: www.thibeaultstable.com Parmesan Garlic Roasted Potatoes Ingredients: Potatoes Cut in to smaller size pieces (I use Russet Potatoes) A few tablespoons of olive oil 2-3 cloves garlic, minced 1 to 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped parsley Fresh grated Parmesan cheese Salt and pepper, to taste Instructions: Preheat oven to 450 °F.  Cut potatoes into cubes or wedges.  Bring a pot of water to a boil.  Add the potatoes and cook for 3 to 6 minutes depending on size. While potatoes are cooking put oil in cast iron skillet or other heavy pan and heat in oven.   Drain the potatoes  and place them back in the pot.  Put the pot back on the burner and shake to dry the potatoes and to rough up their surface. This is what gives roasted potatoes that perfect crust. Add the potatoes to the hot oil , toss to coat and roast turning once or twice. When potatoes are almost tender sprinkle with fresh garlic and Parmesan, salt and pepper and continue roasting until potatoes are tender.  Turn at least one mo
